Joe Jonas, Alan Walker, and Julia Michaels have confirmed that “Thick Of It All” is dropping on September 5. Jonas has called on the house DJ to help create his first dance music song for his second solo album. The collaboration was revealed shortly after ‘Music For People Who Believe In Love’ had been announced.
The musician has been in the music industry for most of his life and built a large repertoire in the arts. Most known for his work with the Jonas Brothers, the singer has remained in the pop and pop rock genres for most of his career. Now, he has collaborated with producer Alan Walker to dip his toes into a different realm.
Joe Jonas has been teasing music from his new project for a few weeks. “Thick Of It All” will follow the lead single “Work It Out” and several teasers from the record. Since it was announced, Jonas has released snippets of four songs including “You Got The Right” and “My Own Best Friend.”
The Jonas Brothers released their first record in 2006 and made five more with their most recent coming out in 2023. Jonas then helped form the pop group DNCE who announced their return by collaborating with DJ Kygo. Since then, the artist has been touring globally with his siblings and working on his latest album.
‘Music For People Who Believe In Love’ is landing on October 18 and is available to pre-order now. Based on teasers, Joe Jonas’ sophomore album will include everything from indie and alternative to pop to dance music. According to Alan Walker, the song is “…about being there for someone you care about.”
“Thick Of It All” by Joe Jonas, Alan Walker, and Julia Michaels is dropping on Monstercat in less than a week and can be pre-saved on any music streaming service. Until then, listen to his latest release “Work It Out.”
