MORTEN suffers immune system failure In Athens resulting in emergency helicopter transport to hospital

Danish DJ and producer, Morten Breum, remains in good spirits following a medical emergency and continues to nurse himself back to optimal health.

Morten shares vulnerable news on Instagram regarding his health. Despite having a healthy diet and exercise regime, the star has fallen ill due to lack of sleep. Moreover, Morten describes that his immune system dropped to “basically zero”. Thus, causing the producer to be taken to the hospital via helicopter.

Ultimately, Morten is given a double diagnosis of Epec, an E.coli bacteria infection, and Astrovirus, also known as the stomach flu. Consequently, the star has decided that rest and time off from touring stand necessary at the moment..

Morten’s ‘Polar Summer’ tour will remain canceled until further notice. This includes Morten’s multiple sets at HÏ Ibiza, and Primer Music Festival in Athens, Greece. Fans are hopeful that Morten will gain enough strength to make it out to Tomorrowland Brasil by October.

Furthermore, Morten posts a series of Instagram photos and videos from the incident, including his recovery. The Instagram carousel starts with Morten inside of a helicopter on the way to the hospital.

In addition, the electronic music star appears to be ill with a swollen eye, flush skin, and IV drip. The Instagram carousel ends the series with a smiley picture of MORTEN in front of Mediterraneo Hospital.

The Danish DJ receives loving support from fellow friends and familiar faces. Specifically, world-class acts, including Kaskade, Armin Van Buren, and Benny Benassi show surprise, relatability, and love through their kind comments. In addition, Meduza, Tchami, Korolova, and Sam Feldt show their support.

Fortunately, doctors and nurses will continue caring for Morten’s condition. On the other hand, Morten shows remorse and sadness for the unfortunate situation at hand.
