Disclosure’s London Boiler Room set canceled due to venue capacity issues
Disclosure has been forced to put their London Boiler Room performance to a halt due to venue overcrowding.
Electronic music duo Disclosure’s highly-anticipated Boiler Room set was abruptly canceled due to overcrowding concerns at the venue. The event, which was set to take place at an intimate club in East London, drew an unexpectedly large crowd, leading to significant safety issues and logistical challenges. The last-minute cancellation marks a disappointing end to what was bound to be a high-energy night for London ravers.
As fans began to arrive just hours before the event’s scheduled start, the venue quickly reached its maximum capacity. According to various bystanders, the scene outside became extremely chaotic as attendees were turned away and the venue staff struggled to manage the crowd. The situation escalated when it became clear that the venue could not safely accommodate everyone, prompting organizers to cancel the entire event.
Disclosure immediately took to their social media channels to address the situation. In a heartfelt Instagram story post, the duo expressed their deep regret over the cancellation and apologized to fans who had been eagerly waiting to see them perform. They reassured followers that the decision was made with everyone’s safety in mind.
Boiler Room, known for its intimate and immersive live music experiences, has been praised for its strict safety policies at every event. Recently, their event in Seoul, South Korea with Peggy Gou was also canceled due to overcrowding issues. However, Disclosure took action immediately and was able to find a new venue in the city that was willing to host them for a special pop-up event the same day.
Disclosure also turned to social media to thank Kindred London for allowing them to perform at their space so last minute. According to various social media posts and the duo’s own Instagram stories, the last-minute event turned out to be a tremendous success.
Fans who had purchased tickets for their Boiler Room set will be refunded, and the duo has promised to reschedule the set as soon as possible. Disclosure’s management team has also announced plans to work closely with the venue to address the issues and prevent similar incidents in the future.
