A new book covering the eclectic career of Aphex Twin is arriving this Autumn

Disco Pogo has announced the newest book in its tribute series will be centered on legendary electronic music producer Aphex Twin.

With over 250 pages, numerous interviews and essays, and iconic photos of the artist taken over his 36-year career, ‘Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo Tribute’ has been curated for fans and music lovers alike. The hardcover book features a cover photo taken by Wolfgang Tillmans and has been edited by Jim Butler. Several globally-known journalists have added contributions to the Aphex Twin book along with Paul Nicholson, the designer of his logo.

It is the second book in the music magazine’s tribute series with the first having been focused on Daft Punk. The magazine has had a relationship with Aphex Twin since the beginning of his career and before it became Disco Pogo. Throughout his journey, he has been dubbed one of the most influential artists in the space.

Richard James, also known as Aphex Twin, began DJing more than 30 years ago in the 1980s. He is most known for his work in techno but does not confine himself to genres. The experimental musician has also become well-known in ambient, jungle, and acid.

Over the span of his career, he has received praise from many artists. From members of rock bands like Limp Bizkit and Red Hot Chili Peppers to fellow DJs Daft Punk and Skrillex, the producer continues to revolutionize music.
