Knockdown Center set to close out summer with multi-genre Outline Festival

Outline Festival makes its third return to Knockdown Center for a special dusk-to-dawn event.

Save the date for the end-of-summer event at the one and only Knockdown Center in New York City. The event is set to be a multi-genre, dusk-to-dawn extravaganza featuring Yaeji, Sofia Kourtesis, Ela Minus, Nourished by Time, and Malibu. Outline Festival highlights elements of R&B, disco, house, and a wide range of diverse electronic-focused BPMs to keep partygoers on their toes.

Kicking off the night, Malibu will curate a celestial, atmospheric feel while the sun begins to set. The French native produces electronic music intertwined with ambient and immersive soundscapes. Malibu also hosts monthly mixes on her radio platform titled ‘United In Flames’ with the help of participants.

Next, Nourished by Time will take over providing a unique blend of R&B and electronic sound elements. The Baltimore local brings those 90’s slow-jam vibes and sprinkles components of Indie pop and beautiful, insightful lyrics. This will be the perfect bridge from Malibu into the artists performing after her.

Another intricate and heavenly performer, Ela Minus, will bring soothing synths and complimenting vocals to the forefront later in the evening. Her most recent single “COMBAT” was released earlier this summer via Domino Recording Company. Her new single’s music video is now available to stream on YouTube for Outline attendees to dive into before seeing her perform live.

Then, a joyful performance will await from the up-and-coming Peru native Sofia Kourtesis. Taking the world by storm, the artist is now residing in Berlin and released her first album in September 2023. Her house-filled bops mixed with soft, enduring vocals create a surreal, dreamlike live music experience for fans.

Up next is Yaeji. who will be closing out the night up on the decks. She recently took over an exclusive NYC Boiler Room set and claims Queens, where Knockdown Center is located, as her hometown. Outline Festival is the only show announcement in the U.S. that is showcasing this lovely array of female artists, and the NYC rave community cannot wait to attend.
