Steve Angello Performs rare b2b set with Guy from Disclosure for Creamfields
Steve Angello and Disclosure have performed An unforgettable b2b, at one of the best stages in the world.
Disclosure has been announced as the surprise special guest at Creamfields 2024, joining forces with Steve Angello for an unprecedented B2B set. The Grammy-nominated house duo’s Guy Lawrence performed solo in place of his brother Howard at this year’s festival, which returned to Daresbury, Cheshire, in the Northwest of England from August 22-25.
Creamfields, which began as a one-day event in 1998, has since evolved into the UK’s largest electronic music festival, drawing over 70,000 attendees each day. This year’s lineup also included performances from Calvin Harris, CamelPhat, Martin Garrix, and Eric Prydz, whose Steelyard performance on Saturday night was streamed live in partnership with Beatport.
This two-hour set marked the first time that Disclosure and Swedish House Mafia’s Angello would blend their distinct musical styles on stage. The highly-anticipated collaboration took place from 7 PM to 9 PM on Friday, August 23, on Creamfields’ newly introduced Zenless Zone Zero stage.
Originally known as “APEX,” the Zenless Zone Zero stage is touted by festival organizers as the “largest indoor festival superstructure in the world.” With a capacity of 30,000, this colossal stage drew one of the festival’s largest crowds, making it the ideal venue for this groundbreaking B2B performance. Throughout the weekend, the Zenless Zone Zero stage also showcased sets from other prominent artists, including FISHER, Tiësto, Michael Bibi, Chris Stussy, and more.
Festival organizers have delivered in that the new stage, with its state-of-the-art production and the signature electric atmosphere of Creamfields, offers an immersive experience unlike any other.
Following its debut on Friday, the Zenless Zone Zero stage extended its hours on Saturday, staying open until 4 AM, making it the latest closing time in Creamfields’ history. The iconic Steelyard stage also remained open late on Saturday, featuring another spectacular B2B set from Patrick Topping and Solomun.
