Celebrating 11 Years of Splash House: The Desert’s Ultimate Music Getaway
For its 11th edition, Splash House once again solidified its status as the ultimate Southern California summer experience. Known for its non-stop partying, sweltering temperatures, and unmistakable vibe, the festival is ultimately defined by its music, which ties everything together, creating a unique sense of unity and making each edition something special. After all, what would Splash House be without those unforgettable performances that let you find your rhythm while cooling off in the pool?
Over the years, the festival has become a key platform for countless artists, thanks to its expertly curated lineups. From industry-leading house and techno giants to emerging talents making their mark, Splash House has consistently been a launchpad for careers, helping artists take their first steps toward becoming the next big thing.
In the 2024 edition, a wide range of artists delivered incredible performances that kept the crowd wanting more. From the after-hours at the Air Museum to the three iconic venues that have become synonymous with Splash House, the artists did not disappoint.
Air Museum After Hours
This year, the after-hours at the Air Museum felt more packed than ever. From start to finish, the crowd was eager to keep the party going until sunrise. The headliners included John Summit, Duke Dumont, Chris Lorenzo, and Dombresky’s ‘Disco Dom,’ each showcasing their unique style—whether it was pumping up the crowd or testing out unreleased music. The after-hours truly served as both the beginning and the end of the party.
What’s unique about the Air Museum is that the entire tarmac transforms into a dancefloor. From the lights and strobes illuminating the planes to the entrance through old airport hangars, the venue completely immerses you in an airport setting and transports you to a whole new experience. One thing is certain: the afters are here to stay, and we can’t wait for next year!
Margaritaville
For first-time Splash House attendees, there’s one word you’ll hear throughout the entire weekend: Margaritaville. Known for its packed pools, constant splashing during sets, and creative pool floaties, this is what puts the splash in Splash House. This year, Margaritaville jam-packed its lineup with the likes of AC Slater, Austin Millz, Odd Mob, Salvatore Ganacci, Nitti, and many more. Additionally, Dr. Fresch celebrated his 10-year anniversary at Splash House, marking a full circle since his first performance at Margaritaville.
Renaissance
If you were doing morning yoga and dancing all day long, then you were at Renaissance. Known for its large dance floor and pool, this is the spot where all the house heads gathered. Hosting both industry legends and up-and-coming talent, this year featured one of the strongest lineups yet, with artists coming from all around the world. Some fan favorites included Girl Math: Nala b2b VNSSA, LF System, Gorgon City b2b Green Velvet, Meduza, and Chris Lorenzo himself. From Las Vegas and Ibiza club residencies to the pool party in Palm Springs, artists and fans can’t get enough of what this stage has to offer.
Saguaro
Last but not least, we have the famous and eclectic Saguaro. From its geometric stage design to its dark and fun dancefloor, this was many people’s hidden gem at Splash House. This stage offered a diverse range of sounds, from house and techno to minimal. Artists who performed at Saguaro included Hugel, Patrick Topping, The Blessed Madonna, SG Lewis, and Riordan. The setup at Saguaro was unmatched, making it a hotspot where festival-goers gathered for some of the most vibrant, hands-in-the-air moments.
As we reflect and recover from an incredible weekend, the next thing that is on our minds is how will 2025 top this year.
Be sure to follow Splash House to stay up-to-date on next year’s festivities and their upcoming festival, Desert Air.
