Inside the ARC After Dark parties taking place in Chicago on Labor Day Weekend

ARC Music Festival has revealed their 2024 ARC After Dark programming including over 80 artists at 30 parties across 13 venues.

This Labor Day weekend, techno and house heads will descend upon Chicago once again for another edition of ARC Music Festival. For many attendees, there’s arguably even more anticipation for the elaborate series of ARC After Dark afterparties throughout the weekend than for the festival proper. This week, ARC has ratcheted up the excitement to the next level with the official announcement of the 2024 ARC After Dark programming.

The ARC After Dark series, which is available exclusively to ARC Music Festival pass holders, begins on Thursday, August 29th, and goes through Monday, September 2nd. Thirteen venues will host a total of 30 parties and more than 80 artists over that span across Chicago.

The first two venues to host ARC After Dark parties on Thursday will be Cermak Hall and Smoke & Mirrors, headlined by Sven Väth and Ralphi Rosario respectively. Friday will then bring the series into full swing, adding seven more venues and bringing out the big guns: Charlotte De Witte, Azzecca, Kaskade, Sara Landry, and more. English tech house DJ Eats Everything will add to the intrigue with a b2b set with a mystery artist on Friday at No9.

ARC After Dark brings three more venues into the fold on Saturday and continues with an impressive collection of big names. Dom Dolla and Gorgon City will headline Radius on that day, Mau P and Gene Farris will preside over Cermak Hall, and The Martinez Brothers will help manage the party at Prysm. DJ Seinfeld will perform twice on Saturday at both Smartbar and Soho House.

Sunday will continue to bring the heat, including two massive b2b sets at Radius: Guy from Disclosure b2b Armand Van Helden and Green Velvet b2b Skepta. Other artists out and about on Sunday include Carl Cox, LP Giobbi, and Purple Disco Machine. ARC After Dark will then end with a bang on Monday with two yacht cruises led by Gene Farris and Ranger Trucco before the official finale party at Masada.

With seemingly endless parties all around Chicago and no shortage of top techno and house talent, the 2024 ARC After Dark series will be truly special. More information is available on the ARC Music Festival website.
