Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, and more to take part in Amplifyd’s charity auction selling autographed vinyl classics

By bringing together legendary tracks through an iconic vinyl collection and giving to charity, this auction promises to go beyond the dancefloor.

Amplifyd, an online auction house for music memorabilia, has unveiled its Amplifyd Signature Series – 12” Trance Classics. This unique collection features over 50 iconic 12” records, each autographed by some of the most legendary names in the trance and electronic music scene, including Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Chicane, The Thrillseekers, M.I.K.E. Push, and Agnelli & Nelson. The proceeds from this auction will benefit various charities chosen by the participating artists.

The collection includes several tracks that have been featured on Mixmag’s list of the 50 Greatest Dance Tracks of All Time, making this auction a must for collectors and fans. The charity auction will be hosted online from 9 am ET on August 12, 2024, to 4 pm ET on September 8, 2024. 

Fans can participate through Amplifyd’s official website, where they can also listen to audio previews of the featured records. Charities that will receive the donations include WWF, Macmillan Cancer Support, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Air Ambulance N.I., CLAPA (Cleft Lip & Palate Association), and The Institute of Cancer Research, London.

The wide-ranging selection was collected by Dan Willis, the founder and CEO of Amplifyd, over several years. He wanted to ensure each piece held sentimental value. “These iconic records hold a special place in the hearts of trance fans and the broader electronic music community. Curating this project has been a unique celebration of the historical significance of songs responsible for countless unforgettable moments. I’m thrilled that all of the artists agreed to participate, each supporting their chosen charity,” said Willis.

Amplifyd has had successful, record-breaking charitable auctions at EDC Las Vegas 2024 and other major events. The organization has a proven track record of turning a passion for music into a positive impact, and this latest auction is set to continue that tradition.

Highlights of the collection include Tiësto’s transformative remix of Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan’s “Silence,” Sasha’s iconic “Xpander” EP, and Chicane’s “Saltwater,” among others. Each record in the collection is not only a piece of music history but also a contribution to a worthy cause.
