Innellea postpones Lebanon show due to current political climate in country

Innellea has announced that he is rescheduling his show in Lebanon this month as a result of political tension in the country.

The artist had been set to perform his Album Live experience on August 14 at Factory People. Several days before the show in Lebanon, Innellea took to social media to share that he had decided to postpone due to the political climate. He had apologized for the postponement, promising that he has contacted promoters to return later. 

Lebanon has been in an economic crisis since 2019 and experienced political instability. In the last few weeks, tensions between Israel and Lebanon have worsened with both locations preparing to go to war. The bordering countries’ political parties and militant groups have had decades of conflict. 

The attacks have heightened and Lebanon has encouraged civilians and foreigners to seek safety. As air strikes continued and the border of Lebanon and Israel became more unsafe, Innellea made the difficult decision to not perform. He expressed his gratitude for his fans and Lebanon as a whole, writing that he is thinking of them. 

Innellea has played in Beirut several times in the past and reminisced on the performances there. He called them “amazing experiences” and signed off with love. 

The experimental techno producer has been on a global tour this summer and played all around Europe. He has upcoming stops in Ibiza, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam and is showing no signs of stopping soon. Apart from his run of shows, Innellea recently released “I Won’t Go” with Alphadog and his debut album ‘The Belonging.’

No plans have been confirmed yet, but Innellea shared that he will come back to Lebanon when he is able. More information on the artist’s current tour and future updates will be on social media.
