Calvin Harris will be the first artist to headline the new Ushuaïa Dubai

Ushuaïa, known for clubs in Ibiza, has expanded into Dubai and announced Calvin Harris as the club’s first headliner when it opens this October.

Dubai is getting a new nightlife destination, thanks to the expansion of Ushuaïa this fall. The club brand, with recognizable locations in Ibiza, tapped Calvin Harris to perform at its opening in the Middle East.

Ushuaïa Dubai Harbor Experience will open on October 26, with Harris as the first artist to headline. This new open-air club will bring the vibes curated by its siblings, the world-renowned Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza.

This new club in the Middle East is a joint venture between The Night League and Studio A by Addmind Hospitality. The former group is behind the Ibiza fixtures, while the latter is a local leading hospitality group behind clubs like Iris and White Club.

The winter residency already has a remarkable, unreleased lineup planned for October 2024 to May 2025. Harris currently has a residency at Ushuaïa Ibiza, certainly fitting the role as the club’s inaugural headliner, and supporting its mission to bring global talent to Dubai.

The Grammy Award winner is certainly no stranger to a jet setting schedule. This year, the DJ and producer has played numerous sets in Las Vegas and all over Europe, with sporadic festival dates elsewhere.

Harris teased new collaborations of his, which show the expansion of his pop portfolio. His new songs with Miley Cyrus and Ellie Goulding are not released yet, but highly anticipated.

His busy schedule comes as a surprise after Harris hinted he was quitting DJing earlier this year. In addition, he even clapped back to negative fan commentary about his Ultra Miami set.

While Harris definitely slowed down on touring, it’s clear that he’s still available for a residency request. Nevertheless, leave it up to the Ushuaïa brand to keep him in the family.

Australian DJ Tyson O’Brien, who plays at Harris’ Ibiza residency weekly, will be joining the bill for the club’s opening. Presale for opening night of the Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience with Harris starts on August 13, for first access to tickets and VIP tables.
