Frank Ocean teases return with new studio photo for first time in years

A photo of Frank Ocean making music in the studio has been released, leading to excitement and anticipation from fans.

After several years of little to no noise, a photo of Frank Ocean playing the bass had been shared on one of his Instagram accounts. The singer-songwriter had been captured in what appeared to be a music studio, spurring rumors of a possible return in the near future. It has been four years since the artist last released new music.

Although his social media pages remain at zero posts, Frank Ocean has been teasing fans for months. He has been posting pictures of him in the studio since the end of 2023 and even uploaded a video of him singing to an unreleased song to round the year out. He had shared two mirror selfies to his stories following the studio picture.

Frank Ocean came out with his first single thirteen years ago, followed by his Grammy-winning debut album ‘channel ORANGE’ in 2012. His second record ‘Blonde’ dropped in 2016 and has been followed by a couple of singles each year since. “Cayendo” and “Dear April,” his latest songs, were released in 2020.

His live performances are just as coveted given he has only played a handful of times since ‘Blonde.’ He headlined the first weekend of Coachella in 2023, marking his first time in front of a crowd in over 5 years. The singer pulled out of the second weekend of the festival
