RÜFÜS DU SOL has sparked rumors about new album and tour after the release of their new single
RÜFÜS DU SOL begins to tease their new project, which has sparked new album and tour rumors. Fans are hoping to receive a full project by the end of summer. Their most recent single, “Music Is Better,” debuted during their Coachella 2024 performance and is presumed to be the first official single of the project.
It has been two years since the Australian trio dropped their Grammy-winning album, “Surrender.” Since then, they have released two official mixes. This includes their cover of “Something In The Way” and a remix of Adriatique and WhoMadeWho’s track, “Miracle.”
Their newest single, “Music Is Better,” came with two remixes, a club edit and a dance-approved remix by Maxi Meraki. Since revealing their time spent in the studio, they have been dropping easter eggs suggesting something bigger than a single is coming.
RÜFÜS DU SOL recently posted a picture together holding a sphere, which ignited rumors of a Las Vegas Sphere show that could be on the horizon. No confirmation has come from the team about this performance. But, with Anyma selling out six shows this coming December in under 24 hours, fans are hoping this is just the beginning for electronic music artists to premiere at the venue.
The most recent clip they have teased is an 18-second video of what can be assumed as new unreleased music. The abundance of content the group is posting has sparked rumors about a new album and potential tour in the works.
Though there has been no confirmed timeline for when the project will be released, fans are eagerly awaiting it. RÜFÜS DU SOL has had a highly anticipated return since ending their global tour, which they embarked on for two years.
