Ultra Japan reveals headliner-heavy 2024 lineup
Ultra Japan has dropped the first phase of its lineup for the festival’s 9th edition in Tokyo.
From September 14 to 15, Ultra Japan has revealed that it is bringing some of the most in-demand acts in techno and house music to Odaiba Ultra Park. The festival has confirmed that it will have two stages – the Ultra Main Stage and the Resistance Stage. Both are brimming with contagious beats and have invited dance music icons to celebrate its 9th installment.
The Main Stage has shared that it is welcoming trance legend Armin Van Buuren, house artists Afrojack and Alesso, as well as electro-pop DJ Steve Aoki. ISOxo and Knock2 are teaming up once again and have made names for themselves with a blend of trap and bass house. The Resistance Stage is just as stacked with techno producers and has invited artists like Eli Brown, Richie Hawtin, and Anfisa Letyago.
The Resistance Stage is bringing a myriad of artists with a focus on techno. Massano, most known for his melodic techno, is taking the stage, along with Hot Since 82, and progressive house artist Miss Monique. Subtronics, Brennan Heart, and Disco Lines have also been announced as support.
Ultra Music Festival is one of the world’s leading music organizations with events in approximately 20 countries. Other locations include Brazil, Australia, and more. Japan was added to the roster in 2014 and has amassed around 100,000 attendees in previous years.
With the first waves of its lineup revealed, Ultra Japan 2024 is set to be two days of fun music. A stacked group of artists comes with a festival experience that is just as exciting.
Passes for Ultra Japan this September are available now. Stay tuned for more information and future lineup announcements on its official website. Until then, prepare for two days of dance music and watch the festival’s official recap video.
