RÜFÜS DU SOL tease potential show at The Sphere in Las Vegas with cryptic post

RÜFÜS DU SOL has dropped an easter egg speculated to unviel a potential Sphere performance

RÜFÜS DU SOL has teased a potential show at The Sphere in Las Vegas. This easter egg comes from a new batch of press photos released on social media. The buzz started because the band posted an image of them holding up a sphere crystal ball with no caption. This sparked excitement about a potential debut at The Sphere in Las Vegas, as it has been a vessel for artists since its inception on 2023.

With Anyma having his sold-out six-night debut performance at The Sphere leading up to New Year’s, it is not far off to guess other electronic music artists will soon follow. Since the release of their new single, ‘Music Is Better,’ the band has eagerly teased their new project. This single is the first new music release since their acclaimed 2021 Grammy-winning album, ‘Surrender.’

Since May, the band has been revealing content of them working in the studio. These clips of them making music include captions with “we cooking,” and “just a taste,” in them, confirming this new initiative. It seems as though the group has been non-stop in the studio as they have just got off the two-year global Surrender Tour which finished in January 2024.

The only performances they have done since have been DJ sets at Coachella, as well as Lightning In A Bottle. They are set to play Portola Festival in San Francisco in September 2024.

The Sphere has quickly become a bucket list venue for musicians and spectators alike. Artists like U2 and Dead and Company have already graced their presence in the 64,000 LED tile-covered sphere, drawing in over 18 thousand patrons to experience the magic for themselves.

Though it hasn’t been confirmed if RÜFÜS DU SOL will be headlining their own show or not, some have speculated that they may also be one of the special guests meant to perform at one of the six shows Anyma will be playing in late December.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
