Club Space shares plans to reopen in time for Halloween 2024
Club Space has provided an update on its venue renovations, assuring music lovers that it will reopen by Halloween time.
Earlier this week, Club Space announced on Twitter the club’s plans to reopen by Halloween. October is a particularly eventful month in Miami, playing host to III Points and Hocus Pocus Festival on back-to-back weekends. One could even say it’s a bender warm-up for the city’s iconic Art Basel parties in December.
Celebrated for its iconic role in hosting music events year-round, Club Space temporarily shut its doors on June 2nd to undergo extensive renovations. The main influence of this project has been the simultaneous development of the new E11EVEN Hotel and Residences, two 65-story towers directly adjacent. The closure has also extended to its sub-venues, leaving partygoers stateside itching for Space’s grand reopening. In the meantime, its sister venue Jolene Sound Room has done well in filling the silence.
Unsurprisingly, DJs and fans alike have shared their yearning for Space in this temporary absence. Nonetheless, Club Space’s co-owners have still made sure to keep the public abreast of the venue’s progress during the lull. Most recently, Coloma Kaboomsky shared a walkthrough video on Instagram to help visualize the club’s new layout. Moreover, rising minimal house artist Chasewest was eager enough to suit up in construction gear and accompany the co-founders inside the building site.
The anticipated reopening in October 2024 aligns immaculately with Club Space’s 25th anniversary and Miami Music Week in March 2025. Furthermore, Club Space’s management has expressed confidence that the renovations will allow it to survive amid Miami’s changing landscape. Luckily for its guests, this provides an added sense of security in Club Space’s reign as a staple of Miami nightlife.
While Club Space has not announced formal reopening plans yet, fans can surely expect a wild grand re-opening. With any luck, the opening parties will keep fans city amply busy until Art Basel season. For updates on all things Club Space, check out the venue’s website.
