Will Ferrell to perform alongside Swedish House Mafia in October

Will Ferrell has organized the perfect night that fuses comedy and beats with the legendary DJ trio, Swedish House Mafia.

Swedish House Mafia will join forces with the legendary comedian Will Ferrell for a special charity event this autumn. Titled Will Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party, the highly anticipated performance will take place on October 26.

Hosted in Chicago at the renowned Wintrust Arena, the event is set to be a spectacular celebration of house music, featuring world-famous DJs, unique performances, and a variety of special guests, all under the charismatic hosting of Will Ferrell. With a seating capacity of around 10,400, the arena is expected to be filled to the brim with eager fans.

Tickets for the event went on sale Thursday, July 18. There is also the option to purchase VIP passes for those looking to enhance their experience. This announcement coincides with Swedish House Mafia’s upcoming fall residency at XS in Las Vegas, which kicks off on August 31 and runs until late November.

The collaboration was hinted at through a playful video posted on Swedish House Mafia’s social media channels. In the video, Ferrell, donning DJ essentials like dark sunglasses and a black T-shirt, is seen enjoying the group’s classic track “One (Your Name)” before revealing that he’ll be performing alongside them. With a cheeky grin, he wraps up the video by saying, “Chicago. Be there. Don’t p**s these guys off.”

All proceeds from this extraordinary event will benefit Cancer for College, a charity dedicated to providing scholarships to cancer survivors. This organization was founded three decades ago by Ferrell’s college friend and three-time cancer survivor, Craig Pollard.

As Swedish House Mafia also readies for a six-week residency in Ibiza, excitement is building on both sides of the Atlantic. With Ferrell’s comedic brilliance and the trio’s electrifying performances, October 26 at Wintrust Arena is shaping up to be a night to remember.
