Fred Again.. hints that his new album is complete
Dance music sensation Fred Again.. has teased that his new album is finished.
What the world needs now is a new Fred Again.. album. Amidst his busiest year yet, the London-born producer hints on Instagram that his next album may be complete.
In May, it was reported that Fred Again.. was finishing up his album with Skrillex in Mexico. The two then reunited in June for a pop-up rave in San Francisco to test out new music, drawing a sold-out crowd of 25,000 people.
Right after, Fred Again.. took over Frost Amphitheater in Stanford to play for three consecutive nights. He then flew to Tennessee for a set at Bonnaroo before playing a one-night show in Los Angeles.
It’s been a month since his whirlwind mini-tour, and now we know why. It seems that Fred Again.. has been working diligently on finishing his next big release.
Earlier this year, Fred Again.. teased 3 tracks following his Grammy win. Those tracks ended up appearing on ‘USB,’ his most comprehensive EP release to date.
The album featured collaborations with various rappers like rappers Future and Baby Keem. Following this drop, the producer shared a collaboration with Anderson .Paak titled “places to be.”
It’s not clear if this song is a standalone release, or if it will appear on the new Fred Again.. album. However, based on the collaborations on ‘USB,’ listeners can expect an eclectic blend of sounds for the next release.
It’s incredible how the dance music sensation’s career has unfolded in the last few years. In April 2023, Fred Again.. appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk series for a 20-minute performance that now has almost 10 million views.
Up next, Fred Again.. will be touring all over Europe in August for a festival circuit. It appears that the producer does not have any other announced tour dates beyond that, but with his next album near, he may be coming soon to a city near you.
