SILO Dallas slated to open this fall after 3-year renovation of 30,000 square-foot historic grain silo

Disco Presents has announced that the grand opening for SILO Dallas on September 19th and 20th will be headlined by Tiësto.

This past May, Disco Presents (formerly Disco Donnie Presents) announced plans to officially open SILO Dallas, a new 30,000-square-foot venue in the Design District of Dallas, Texas. The ambitious project, in collaboration with Dallas entertainment entrepreneur Patrick Tetrick, transformed a historic grain silo built in 1959 into a 3,145 capacity throughout a three-year renovation. Now, Disco Presents has announced that SILO Dallas’s two-night grand opening celebration will be headlined by the legendary Tiësto on September 19th and 20th.

Mixing spectacle and practicality, SILO Dallas figures to play a huge role in the dance music scene in Dallas moving forward. Its backing by renowned promoter Disco Presents paired with its grandiose 40-foot ceilings and enormous stage make it a favorite to host just about any dance music act that rolls through the city. Tack on a state-of-the-art sound system and ultra-reliable air conditioning, and this venue definitely has the potential to become the favorite among Dallas ravers as well.

After the blockbuster Tiësto grand opening, SILO Dallas already has a stacked lineup of shows to give all flavors of dance music fans a chance to check out the new venue. Sasha, John Digweed will be on hand to close out September, followed by a stellar October that features an Anjunadeep showcase, three nights of Illenium, and an RL Grime show just before Halloween. The final two months of 2024 will see Galantis, Eric Prydz, James Hype, Lilly Palmer, Camelphat, and deadmau5 all make their SILO debuts.

With a versatile interior design, SILO doesn’t plan to limit itself to only concerts. The flexible venue will also host a variety of other events including conventions, art shows, and weddings. Patrick Tetrick says, “The community’s response to our vision has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to making SILO Dallas a key player in the city’s cultural and economic landscape.”

Dallas dance music fans are surely thrilled to have a marvelous venue on their hands come September. Tickets to the grand opening and all other announced SILO Dallas shows are on sale now.
