Keinemusik teases new collaboration with Drake at Brooklyn Mirage takeover
A potential Keinemusik and Drake song collaboration is in the works after New York Debut
It seems Keinemusik and Drake have a new collaboration track in the works. During their Brooklyn Mirage 4th of July weekend takeover, the group teased an unreleased ID with new Drake vocals. Based on the group’s friendship with the rapper, it can be assumed there is an official song on the way.
The authenticity of the collaboration has not yet been confirmed. Though, Keinemusik member Rampa commented a peace sign emoji on the viral video that could be hinting at some authenticity.
This isn’t the first time Keinemusik has been involved in producing songs for Drake. In 2022, Keinemusik members &Me and Rampa teamed up with the rapper on his seventh studio album, ‘Honestly, Nevermind.’ The two contributed as producers on the tracks, “Falling Back” and “A Keeper.” This collaboration marked the beginning of Keinemusik and Drake’s artistic collaboration.
Other collaborators from the house music scene on Drakes’s electronic album are Black Coffee and Gordo. The album differs from his previous releases as it embraces a dance, house, and Baltimore club sound. ‘Honestly, Nevermind’ is Drake’s 11th number-one album and debuted at #7 on the Global 200 Billboard Charts.
In October 2022, videos of Drake had gone viral of him attending a Keinemusik show in St. Tropez. The group posted an official video from their social media account of Drake embracing &Me behind the booth at their show at Shellona Beach Club.
The Rap x EDM crossover has been dominating the music scene over the years and continues to grow. Some of the most iconic pairs of rappers and DJs on a track include A$AP Rocky and Skrillex, Lil Jon x DJ Snake, Daft Punk x Kanye West, Flux Pavilion and Childish Gambino, and Guy Gerber and Diddy.
