Claude VonStroke Teases Return In 2025 For 20th Anniversary Of DJ Project
Barclay Crenshaw celebrates his birthday by questionably foreshadowing a victorious comeback from the underground as Claude VonStroke.
Barclay Crenshaw, also known as Claude VonStroke, is a leading legacy that inspires innovation in the landscape of modern house music. Undoubtedly, VonStroke’s has a sound of its kind, involving a unique blend of tech house, minimal techno, funky grooves, and playful sounds.
In November of 2023, the Detroit-raised producer announces his hiatus from DJ’ing as Claude VonStroke. Understandably, Crenshaw desires to spend more time with family and pursue other creative endeavors. Crenshaw is currently releasing under his real name, experimenting with other genres such as hip-hop and rap, and even got to perform at Electric Forest this year!
On July 7th, “Papa VonStroke” posts a cheeky birthday selfie on Instagram from the top of a mountain. Ultimately, the underground artist teases fans by mentioning in the Instagram caption how it will be another year around the sun without a classic Claude VonStroke Dirtybird DJ set.
Furthermore, Barclay Crenshaw asks fans if his alter ego, Claude VonStroke (CVS), should make its triumph return in 2025. Ideally, the underground king will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of his first release “Deep Throat“. Excuse me, is the sky blue? Is this foreshadowing or just a tease?
Following the shocking news, fans immediately spiral into the Instagram comment section begging, pleading, crying, and gasping for air. Similarly, most comments under the Instagram post involve a multitude of positive and direct answers.
Hopefully, more news of Claude VonStroke’s foreshadowing return to the Dirtybird scene will be come out after he finishes his ‘Open Channel Tour’ as Barclay Crenshaw on August 10 at Elements Festival. More information can be found on Vonstroke’s Facebook and Instagram.
