Watch Hamdi and Sammy Virji go B2B in a secret 2-hour set at Glastonbury

Hamdi and Sammy Virji put on a “super secret” B2B set at Glastonbury Festival 2024.

Hamdi and Sammy Virji played a secret b2b set during Glastonbury 2024. The two DJs played an exclusive two-hour set at a 100-person capacity stage at the highly-acclaimed festival.

The first time Hamdi and Sammy Virji did a B2B was in 2018 at Outlook Festival. Almost six years later, the Oxford natives reunited for a rare b2b performance that took place in an intimate venue.

The two played at The Guerrilla Bar for the 2nd annual ‘TWOGOOD Sundays’. The Guerrilla Bar is a secret club behind Shangri-La at Glastonbury. After last year’s guest appearance by Fred Again.., the organizers knew “we had a lot to live up to, so after months of hard work and organizing we managed to grab some of our favorite artists in the game.”

There is a no-phone policy for this stage so videos are limited. Luckily the founders of TwoGood captured the legendary moment on film. There has been a recent phenomenon of limited access to phones during raves and many are on board. One fan who attended the secret B2B said, “No phones, no nonsense just raw energy. Makes the rest of glasto look like a clown parade. This is what we need.” This concept has been recently applied to James Hype and Meduza’s Hï Ibiza residency, as they announced a no-phones policy this season.

This was Sammy Virji’s first time performing at Glastonbury. Not only did he do a B2B with Hamdi, but he also went B2B with DJ EZ, Todd Edwards, and Joy Anonymous. With four B2B’s under his belt, he also performed a solo set which drew in thousands of ravers to his show.

Hamdi and Sammy Virji have released music together in the past. The Brits collaborated on their song “Show Me VIP” which was officially released in 2019. The two DJs have also done remixes for each other including Hamdi’s “Counting” and Sammy Virji’s “Never Let You Go.”

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
