Kai Wachi announces first baby on the way with wife Mik

A baby is on the way for dubstep’s Kai Wachi, bringing a fresh beat to both his personal and professional life. 

Kai Wachi has shared exciting news with his fans – he and his wife, Mik, are expecting their first child. The dubstep DJ posted to Instagram that showed him and his wife with ultrasound photos of the baby, both looking joyful to soon-be parents.

The post read, “Baby girl Wachi January 2025.” The two were surrounded by mountains while hugging and kissing to celebrate the news. Mik was dressed in an adorable pink dress with red flowers. She is about three months along in her pregnancy. 

Kai Wachi is about to embark on a new, deeply personal journey: fatherhood. The dubstep community has shown overwhelming support for Kai Wachi’s announcement. Excision, Hesh, and Level Up commented on his post and congratulated him on the news. Sullivan King commented and said, “Welcome to the dad club my dude.’

The happy couple has been together for about three years. A recent post from Kai Wachi about Mik showcases his love for her and reads, “My number one !!!! what a privilege it is to be by your side every day!! Forever will never be long enough with you.”

However, the couple stays very private on social media – Kai Wachi posts Mik often but does not tag her in any of the photos. Their relationship is lowkey, but they look extremely happy together in everything they post.

Kai Wachi’s journey into fatherhood is expected to bring a fresh perspective to his life and music. The dubstep DJ is sober but travels a lot to keep up with his career. He will be 10 years sober in October and has turned to focus on his health and working out in that time.
