Yetep, Manila Killa, and MYRNE debut new supergroup: STARSIGNS

STARSIGNS announces they will drop their debut single on July 5th and perform at Lost In Dreams festival in Los Angeles on July 12.

These days, it seems that three-part supergroups are all the rage in dance music. Space Laces alone has launched two such projects recently: Masterhand with Eptic and SVDDEN DEATH, and Hivemind with Kayzo and Must Die!. Now, a new melodic trio has entered the chat: Yetep, Manila Killa, and MYRNE have officially announced their new project STARSIGNS, with a debut single and debut performance right around the corner.

From their brand new Instagram account, STARSIGNS has posted their first official photo, with Yetep, Manila Killa, and MYRNE posed in a boy band-esque formation. The caption relayed a simple but powerful slogan: “AN HOMAGE TO THE PAST; A LOVE LETTER TO THE STARS.” Comments from the likes of JVNA, SABAI, and If Found piled in shortly thereafter, with a few comparisons to BTS and the Jonas Brothers.

The debut performance for STARSIGNS will be July 12th at Lost In Dreams festival in Los Angeles amongst a stacked lineup that includes Adventure Club, Dab the Sky, Madeon, and Seven Lions. Mashing up the styles of these three artists will be fascinating to see – ethereal tones and longing lyrics are common themes in much of their music, but the execution and creative design can differ quite a bit. The results will undoubtedly be incredible and should fit into the atmosphere of Lost In Dreams perfectly.

Before their debut performance, the trio have also announced that they will be dropping their first STARSIGNS single. “Leo (Flicker)” with vocalist George Gleeson will be released on July 5th on Lost In Dreams records. “THE INAUGURAL STARSIGNS ANTHEM” should provide a lot of insight into the concept behind the project, as well as a lot of excitement for the upcoming debut set.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I've always had a passion for writing and was introduced to the EDM scene in 2017. Since then, I've attended countless shows and several major festivals including Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Decadence CO, Hard Summer, and Shambhala. Some of my favorite artists are Seven Lions, Zeds Dead, NGHTMRE, Trivecta, and Jason Ross.
