Hulaween’s co-founder Michael Berg and partners reacquire the festival in 2024

The magic of Hulaween returns to its roots in 2024.

Michael Berg and Paul Levine, the founders of Hulaween‘s inaugural festival in 2013, are excited to reclaim their creation and return it to its fantastical roots in 2024. Michael and Paul have teamed up with industry vets Chris den Uijl and Aaron Ampudia to not only produce Hulaween yet again but to make this year the most spectacular iteration to date.

“As a co-founder of the festival, the opportunity to reacquire Hulaween and continue its storied legacy is an incredible full-circle moment after over a decade of commitment and service to the Hulaween journey,” shared Michael Berg. “Our goal to keep the dream alive is in the greatest possible hands with my friends and partners, Chris and Aaron, alongside the well-curated and longtime all-star team that produces Hulaween. Our independent festival is arguably the greatest in the world for multi-genre lineups, experiential art, and a passionate community whose fans live for both.”

As one of the country’s most talked about camping festivals, Hulaween’s 2024 lineup did not disappoint. Hulaween 2024 will make history as the first camping festival (and perhaps the last since there are no other scheduled shows) to showcase The Bobby Weir Incident. The new group is comprised of Grateful Dead founding member Bobby Weir as well as the members of The String Cheese Incident, an American jam band formed in the 90’s. The Bobby Weir Incident is slotted to play two consecutive set times on Sunday for more than three hours of Grateful Dead classics.

Hulaween will also feature performances from Sublime, Killer Mike, Black Pumas, Tipper, Nora En Pure, Chris Lake, Of The Trees, WAKAAN’s Liquid Stranger, Walker and Royce, and so many more. For those who have never experienced the magic of Hulaween, the festival takes place on the bucolic campgrounds of Suwannee Florida in late October. All festival attendees are encouraged to dress up while parading the grounds, enjoying the spook of the season as well as top-notch music production.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
