Vulllgur announces decision to disband after shocking allegations against band member

VUllLgur has revealed plans to disband and end musical endeavors.

Vulllgur has announced the decision to entirely disband after allegations against band member Bag Head. This announcement comes one week after his departure, leaving only two members left in the band.

Bag Head’s ex-girlfriend surfaced allegations claiming that he has anti-semitic views and obsessive behavior. This accusation follows the controversy the trio received after displaying footage from the Holocaust at their Lost Lands 2023 performance. The group has claimed they thought it came from a movie scene. Their performances engulf attendees into a haunting dark atmosphere where they truly embody the word “vulgar” with their visuals. Vulllgur has mustard support from leaders in the Bass, Dubstep, and Riddim space like Subtronics, HOL!, Infekt, and more.

The Vulllgur live shows are famous for their horror-themed shows and display of haunting visuals of gore and blood. With this idea, the DJs embody the aesthetic that they are serial killers, wearing masks to cover up their identities. The members of the band consist of the characters Flesh Face, Bag Head, and Smiley.

The trio even have their own twisted villain stories summarized on their website. The narratives for each band member include Flesh Face being a “sadistic psychopath” and “rumored to wear the flesh of its victims as its mask.” Bag Head is said to, “stalk unknowing victims and collect the teeth, nails, and other malformed extremities for their own sick and twisted pleasures.” Smiley is described as someone who paints a smile on his “victims” serving “as a grotesque symbol of their sadistic pleasure.”

It seems that the group has taken the serial killer narrative too far as Vulllgur published its final announcement as a group. In the post, the group thanks its fans for their love and support over the last few years. Revealing they have chosen to disband entirely and are “deeply sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused our fans and anyone affected.”

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
