Aazar and Capozzi launch new collaborative project Vertigo

Aazar and capozzi have come together to create vertigo.

Aazar and Capozzi have launched a new collaborative project, Vertigo. The two artists have already splashed the music scene with their distinct personalities, but have chosen to display something new. With ardent conviction, Aazar and Capozzi have blended their musical abilities into a cogent creation.

Descending from Tchami’s Confession label, the Parisienne and Californian have presented their breakout single “Hit My Heart,” featuring Makayla Phillips. In clever fashion, both have departed from their usual sounds. Evidently, Vertigo has encapsulated burgeoning and ingenious musicality.

Aazar has contributed a vibrant selection of electronic music for well over a decade and imprinted his distinct style. Bouncy, groovy, and pulsating, he has masterfully revealed his undeniable ability. Previously, he has collaborated with artists like French Montana, Tove Lo, Swae Lee, and more – a testament to his musical gravity.

On the other end, Capozzi has posed a darker, more intense side of music, never failing to reach for new heights in regard to musical exploration. Hailing from Northern California, she is no stranger to the depths of house music. While relatively new to the scene, her rhythmic and stuttering electronic music has surely made heads turn.

As mentioned, Aazar and Capozzi have demonstrated two very different vibes in their artistry, but Vertigo meshes these two wondrous ends of the spectrum. The Confession label has added more depth and density to its already illustrious roster list. One can only imagine that this is the very beginning of Vertigo’s trajectory – and it is a fiery beginning.

This new collaborative project has entered the musical fray right at the onset of summer – in fact, it’s a summer solstice treat. Hints and vestiges of each artist’s personality, Vertigo has proven to be the culmination of two extremely talented artists. Without an iota of doubt, “Hit My Heart,” will be routinely played and bumped on any dance floor.

Like many others, I often dive into a variety of music genres and explore, as best I can, what resonates while I listen. For me, EDM is a dense subset of music with unique artistry and textured sounds - a facet of melody and tune that I will always investigate.
