Although the grounds were extremely wet, festival organizers decided to reopen the festival on Sunday. This is not the first festival in the UK that has been rained out – Glastonbury Festival often battles subpar weather, with last year being one of the worst years of rain washing out the festival grounds.

In the states, some Floridian festivals have also battled Mother Nature. Last year, Forbidden Kingdom in Florida was overtaken by storms with a massive evacuation of the festival grounds and campsites needed. However, this did birth the group, Forbidden Four consisting of Sullivan King, Svdden Death, Wooli, and Excision. Recently in Texas, the Texas Eclipse Festival had to be evacuated for tornados and storms.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
