Monstercat launches DJ Simulator experience on Roblox with exclusive opportunities

Monstercat has partnered with Play Pals Studio on Roblox to create an immersive DJ experience.

The independent record label has collaborated with Roblox again to set its eyes on bringing electronic dance music to the game. The simulator has been created to take players from the beginning of their DJ journey to the main stage as they build their careers. While navigating the music world, users have gained access to over 350 Monstercat tracks, partake in sidequests, upgrade DJ gear, and more.

From bass to melodic house to electro-pop, Monstercat has included a large selection of songs and plans to add more. Users have been given the creative power to create DJ sets and invite friends to watch their performances. Roblox and Monstercat have also made 8 themed stages with visuals and effects.

Monstercat has partnered with Roblox for four years and was the first label to license its music on the platform. Along with Roblox, the label has collaborated with other game creators like Epic/Psyonix, Hi-Rez Studios, and more. They also worked with Play Pals Studios to bring the DJ Simulator to life.

Monstercat’s Partnerships Director said, “We are thrilled to bring this rich music-powered gaming experience, which ties our music, artists, and digital items together with greater depth to our engaged fans on the platform.” The DJ Simulator gives players the power to customize effects, sets, and collect pets all while growing the EDM community.
