Mochakk has delightfully charmed NYC with his talent and charisma after selling out Brooklyn Navy Yard and hosting an electric pop-up For his 3 part Mochakk Calling NYC.

Mochakk is a crowd favorite right now in NYC with his Brazillian charm, high energy, incredible fashion sense, and unmatched talent. His staying power as a crowd favorite rocketed to icon level after his incredible Mochakk Calling NYC weekend in New York City. Covering multiple neighborhoods and boroughs in less than 48 hours, Mochakk has secured himself as one of the most infatuating artists of the 2020s.

His crowd control and delightful personality were evident throughout the fun-filled weekend in the city. On Friday, Mochakk teamed up with Renegade NYC, SoundCloud, Sequel Sound, W Hotels, and an ice cream truck to bring a welcomed chaos to the city that never sleeps. Beginning his journey downtown Mochakk stirred up the city in Union Square, he continued down to Washington Square Park and then Dimes Square where Mochakk branded ice cream was tossed to pedestrians and parkgoers.

The ice cream chariot had its final stop on Hester Street where traffic was quickly shut down as Mochakk tossed his final ice cream and headed to the booth – also known as MJ Cafe. Here, Mochakk ripped and snacked on a slice of pizza and played a perfect set for a Friday pop up in the city. Saturday he headed to Brooklyn, where he commanded the Navy Yard for over 12 hours.

From day-night, Mochakk dominated the decks ripping pulsating beats, fire drops and even remixes to opera that left the crowd stunned. The designer Heron Preston opened, a year ago Exron Interviewed Mochakk at Sonar and Mochakk mentioned that Preston was the number one artist he would like to collab with. The nighttime crowd lost their respective minds when he played one of his biggest tracks and one of Exron’s faves, his flip to The Martinez Brothers‘ “Rizzla.” Coincidentally The Martinez Brothers took over that same venue on Sunday for Puerto Rican Day.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
