New live event company to host Chris Lake’s Black Book Records showcase on a pier in Brooklyn
EMW Presents has announced they will host Chris Lake’s Black Book Records showcase in Brooklyn, NY.
Chris Lake is bringing Black Book Records to a pier in New York this summer, thanks to a new live event company, EMW Presents. On July 19 and 20, the house producer will showcase his label by bringing a star-studded roster of friends to join him at Brooklyn Army Terminal.
EMW Presents, which stands for East Meets West, intends to bring “bespoke dance events” to The Big Apple. Their premier event is slated as an open-air concept, with the iconic New York skyline as a picturesque backdrop for two nights of thumping dance music from Chris Lake’s Black Book Records.
The British producer will play both nights of the event, while special guests differ for each show. Chris Lake’s Black Book Records will showcase performances from global headliners, with bass-house maestro Chris Lorenzo on Friday night, and techno icon Green Velvet on Saturday.
Support for this upcoming Black Book Records event includes Andruss, Jojo Lorenzo, Harry Romero, and Cole Knight. The event predicts an evening of underground warehouse vibes, the perfect way to spend a New York summer night.
Chris Lake’s forthcoming label showcase takes place amidst his circuit of summer shows, clubs, and festivals. Next up, the producer will be at Bonnaroo to replace Fisher, who dropped out due to his wife’s pregnancy. After Brooklyn, Lake will head to the West Coast to perform with Fisher as Under Construction at HARD Summer. He will also play solo at Outside Lands.
EMW Presents has marked a new era for dance music in New York City, thanks to a collaboration from former SFX employees and Arizona promoter Relentless Beats. Similarly, the upcoming Black Book Records on the Pier celebrates East Coast nightlife with a twist of West Coast flair. With an impeccable blend of iconic performers at a legendary Brooklyn location, this one-of-a-kind event is one dance music lovers won’t want to miss out on.
