Phase 1 of Cercle Odyssey tour ticket sales sell out within one day as company battles ‘bots and scams’
After selling out in minutes, hundreds of people were left without passes or experiencing ticketing issues for the Cercle Odyssey tour.
The Cercle Odyssey tour was announced at the beginning of the month and had created anticipation around the opportunity to experience the immersive show. The excitement of the tour also came with disappointment when fans had not been able to purchase tickets due to bots and a large number of people on the site at once. The traveling 360-degree concert installation released the first half of its tickets
Cercle Odyssey acknowledged the issues that had come up when fans attempted to purchase tickets. According to Cercle, around 150,000 people had registered to buy tickets and were on the site simultaneously. The team confirmed that its ticketing partners were blocking bots and encouraged buyers to contact customer service for purchasing issues.
They also shared that they are working on adding more cities to the tour. For now, the tour has shows in Mexico City, Los Angeles, and Paris in April, May, and June of 2025. Each Cercle Odyssey date will be unique with visuals displayed on 8K projection screens and 72 speakers to enhance the artist’s music.
Ticket bots and scams have become an increasing problem since restrictions on COVID-19 were lifted. As a result, legislation has been introduced to combat ticket scalping and lawsuits have been filed against ticketing partners Live Nation and Ticketmaster.
There will be another chance to get tickets to Cercle Odyssey as the rest will be released later this year. The lineup will be revealed when the remaining tickets go on sale. More information on future ticket drops will be shared via their waiting list.
Cercle Moments has hosted shows at the French Riviera Reverie, in Cappadocia, Turkey, and more. Get a taste of Cercle’s live entertainment vision and watch the tour’s trailer.
