Nicki Minaj sparks divorce rumors with cryptic post

Nicki Minaj’s ‘single’ tweet divides fans and has caused speculation about divorce rumors or new music dropping.

Following her drug arrest in Amsterdam, Nicki Minaj sparks divorce rumors after posting cryptic ‘single’ tweet. Minaj took to Twitter writing, “yes, single…” which has led fans to wonder if the tweet is about her relationship status or if she is hinting at new music. 

Nicki Minaj met her husband when she was a teenager and first dated in high school. The pair lost touch during the years but ended up crossing paths in 2018. The high school sweethearts wedded in 2019 and welcomed their first son in 2020.

Though their relationship has been kept somewhat private, the cryptic tweet has caused fans to debate whether it is a PR stunt or not. Minaj has spoken out about her relationship in the past for defending Petty after sex offender status surfaced.

Some comments from speculating fans include asking Minaj if they are “getting a new single or are you single” as well as ‘dear rap girlies, this is how you pull a PR stunt’. Literally two words and she ate.’” Fans also commented that at her concert last week, she said stuff like ‘I don’t want to be love and disappointment.” The last time Minaj dropped music was with her album “Pink Friday 2” in December 2023. The album landed on top of the Billboard 200 charts after a long-awaited return to music.

For fans speculating about her relationship status, Minaj ridicules the divorce chatter with a new post. Since these rumors have been circulating on Twitter, Nicki Minaj seems to have debunked the rumors by posting a video of her family. The video shows her son and husband boarding a private jet all together in high spirits. 

After Minaj clears up rumors about her family, it seems as though she will be dropping new music soon.
