Franky Wah offers reward after laptop and bags were stolen in Ibiza

Franky Wah turns to Instagram to offer a reward to anyone who can offer insight on who might’ve stolen his belongings in Ibiza.

Franky Wah has just announced that his belongings have been stolen from a parked vehicle in Ibiza just a few days before his Shén summer residency is set to kick off at Club Chinois. The DJ specifies where exactly the break-in occurred, stating that the car full of his laptop, bags, and more was broken into in the northern Jesus area of the island while having dinner at a restaurant.

In the video, it’s obvious that Franky Wah is in a state of panic due to his prized possessions being stolen, particularly his laptop that holds numerous amounts of unreleased music and other creative endeavors he had been working on. Although shocked by this unfortunate situation, he remains hopeful that someone might be able to offer insight into who might’ve been involved in this break-in, offering a reward to anyone who can assist.

He hopes that fellow DJs and producers with thousands and even millions of followers will repost this video and make it go viral so that it reaches the right audience and those who have the inside scoop on who might’ve stolen his belongings will eventually turn up. Fellow Ibiza star resident Carl Cox turned to the comments on the video saying “Shared mate, fingers crossed 🤞.” Gorgon City also commented, “Shared – good luck bro 😢.”

Unfortunately, Ibiza and other popular dance music-friendly cities in Spain are widely recognized for pickpocketers and theft. Some people in the comments even mentioned that this happens way more than anyone thinks on such a small and intimate island like Ibiza. Regardless, Franky Wah remains positive and expresses that “it’s a small island, there’s a good chance of getting this back in Ibiza.”

Luckily, just 24 hours following his initial post regarding the situation, Franky Wah and his crew now have more information regarding the incident. He claims that “none of the items have been recovered as of yet but we now have a good idea where they are.” He is leaving the rest up to the Ibiza police to get to the bottom of this following the insider information they’ve received.

His follow-up Instagram video continues to showcase Franky Wah’s positive mindset as he thanks everyone who shared the news and is grateful for how good of a community he is a part of within the music industry. He also describes the exact items that were stolen from the car in great detail and continues to emphasize that he is offering a massive reward if anyone can return these items to him.
