Sofi Tukker recruits supermodel Heidi Klum for new spiral music video

Sofi Tukker has famous supermodel Heidi Klum Starring in the duo’s new music video for their single “Spiral.”

Sofi Tukker, the duo made up of Tucker Halpern and Sophie Hawley-Weld hailing from Brown University, who met at an open mic night at a local cafe in Providence, has been causing commotion in the dance music scene with their new releases this spring and soon-to-be summer. Sofi Tukker has linked with Heidi Klum to star in their latest music video for the new track “Spiral” that launched on June 12th.

The announcement made yesterday June 11th on Instagram stated, “We hope this video makes you as happy as it makes us. Spiral video premieres tomorrow at 10am est on YouTube. 🌀💖.” This comes after the release of “Throw Some A**” and the announcement of their third studio album, ‘Bread.’

In the video, Sophie is seen having a girl’s night with Heidi Klum, with flowy robes, makeup, and glitzy dresses. Midway through the track, Tucker arrives as a pizza man, to deliver some pizzas to the ladies. Quickly thereafter, he joins the party and is immediately the DJ for the dancing queens. The video ends with Sophie and Heidi running into the sunset with Tucker stumbling behind to catch up.

The new track, very much a summer inspired song, which many of Sofi Tukker’s biggest hits are, is catchy and feels fit for a rooftop vibe or getting ready to hit the town with your girls (or guys!). This is not the first time they have been linked to supermodels; last fall they were seen partying with Alessandra Ambrosio in Paris. They have also walked in Sao Paulo Fashion Week, so their connections to the realm of modeling are not surprising, yet just another insight into their diverse portfolio.

Hey! I'm Shiv! Music is the greatest part of my life, I remember discovering dubstep when I was 15/16 and my entire life was altered - robot noises?? I needed MORE! Now, I live in NYC and have seen over 60 artists of all genres; my favorites being Odesza, Subtronics, Rezz, Griz, Zeds Dead, John Summit and Kaskade. I am an enjoyer of music and will try everything once, I do not discriminate - there is beauty in all genres (minus country). You can usually find me in a warehouse at 4AM because I am nocturnal and will quite literally never say no to a show.

What's your reaction?
