Who knew an Irish kid group was behind a fire Drum & Bass tune like this?

“The Spark” is the Internet‘s new trendy track, and the musical group behind it is not what listeners expected. Ireland’s rising youth music groups, Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvara Crew consist of child rappers from the suburb of Cork who have gone viral with this hard-hitting hip-hop and drum & bass bop.

The viral single has been released by Kabin Studio, a non-profit music and creative hub for young artists and passionate musicians in Ireland. In collaboration with producers GMCBeats and Rhyme Island, the official music video for “The Spark” was released in anticipation of Cruinniú na nÓg on June 15th, Ireland’s national day to celebrate the importance of youth creativity.

The high-energy single features the kids rapping about finding their spark during their uniquely vibrant performances over a stimulating drum & bass beat. After listening to the song’s entirety, it’s safe to say these kids are brilliantly confident in their musical talents and endeavors, as they should be.

The track kicks off with the lyrics “Think you can top what we do? I doubt it. We got the energy we’ll tell you all about it.” Then, it drops into the most iconic part of the song where they all rap in unison, “I searched for my spark and I found it.” As one verse of the song goes, Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew are definitely “making bangers at a young age.”

Listeners from all over the globe can agree that these kids did not have to go that hard when creating “The Spark” in the studio. Ever since the track went viral following various reposts from influencer accounts on TikTok, the world can’t get the track’s catchy rap vocals and vibrant electronic-heavy beat out of their heads.

Today, Kabin Krew’s official TikToks surrounding “The Spark” have over four million views combined. On top of that, their appearance on the popular Irish Radio show Hospital Records’ TikTok garnered over six million views. Since then, the rest has been history for the wee lads behind this stunner tune as they are the talk of the Internet and social media.
