Cercle reveals new Odyssey live tour with 360-degree visual projections
Event Experience imprint Cercle has unveiled its latest innovation with 360-degree projections for the Odyssey live tour.
Live music event tastemaker Cercle is launching its newest innovation and taking it on the road next year. The concert platform brings a new live tour with 360-degree projections through Odyssey.
Paris-based Cercle Music is best known for curating the ultimate musical experiences via livestream. The platform brings top musicians to perform at iconic global destinations, sometimes in front of a live audience. The result is breathtaking and timeless, and both audibly and visually stunning.
Cercle‘s signature journey takes listeners through an exploration of music and technology. No wonder the imprint chose the name of Odyssey for their next adventure. This innovative concept, which premieres in 2025, will redefine traditional concerts. The 360-degree projection creates visual storytelling through a panorama of massive screens, synchronized to music.
Cercle Odyssey, which is a sustainable project, consists of 29 state-of-the-art projectors, instead of LED screens. This cuts down the need for mass transportation, reducing energy consumption and emissions. This new venture isn’t just sustainable, it is also a milestone in technological advancements. Coupled with the company’s taste-making abilities, Cercle Odyssey is the correct answer to the music industry‘s rapid growth.
Per the name, videos for Odyssey will thematically follow Homer’s Greek epic poem about returning home. In line with its sustainable mission, Cercle taps local rentals for all light, projection, and sound equipment used as Odyssey travels the world.
Director Neels Castillon, co-founder of Motion Palace, will oversee Odyssey videos for creative direction. Ridley Scott Creative Group, the commercial production company founded by the director of Gladiator and House of Gucci, represents Castillon globally.
Cercle Odyssey intends to transcend the music experience, bringing listeners into a new and immersive multisensory dimension. Phone use will be prohibited during the performances, with attendees receiving filmed content post-show.
The lineup for Cercle Odyssey is still unknown. Based on past streams featuring Above & Beyond and Disclosure, there’s no telling who will perform. Recent Cercle performances have included Folamour in Geneva, Switzerland, and Adriatique in Luxor, Egypt.
