Ghastly announces engagement to fiancée Jessica following transformative ayahuasca experience

A month ago, Ghastly and his girlfriend were doing ayahuasca in the amazon. Now, they’re engaged.

Congratulations are in order for Ghastly and his beautiful fiancé Jessica, a stunning blonde, blue-eyed influencer! The couple recently announced via Instagram their engagement after dating for less than a year. Ghastly shared in his Instagram post, “I devote my life to you forever and always, your strength and positivity and patience is invaluable. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to find the words to describe how much you mean to me so I’ll show you with my actions.”

Although the couple has been dating for less than a year, they’ve shared their whirlwind romance with fans. For Valentine’s Day this year, Ghastly shared a barrage of photos with his wife-to-be and the sweetest caption. “I’ve been searching for you my entire life,” mused Ghastly. He explained how he met Jessica during a dark time, in the midst of his grandmother’s passing.

Ghastly, who usually maintains an extremely public internet prescience, declined to post during this mournful period, maintaining privacy for his family. Ghastly shared how patient and loving Jessica was during this time, and how she stayed by his side unconditionally. Ghastly closed his commentary with, “For Valentine’s Day, we don’t need gifts, [rather] we have each other and the rest of our lives. I love you beyond the stars and back, Jessica. You’re the piece of my puzzle [that] I was always missing and I’m so glad to finally be where we belong.”

Fast forward to May of this year, Ghastly shared another poignant post to Instagram about his recent experience with shamanism in the Amazon jungle, alongside Jessica and a close friend. Fresh out of a show, Ghastly traveled to Colombia to indulge in what he described as an “incredibly misunderstood medicine.” Ghastly shared, “The majority of the experience is pain. It’s a self-induced psychedelic sickness in which the spirits of the forest unveil all your greatest pains and traumas in powerful ways. The pain is physical, spiritual, and emotional. We cried and puked for hours and then suddenly, pure bliss. I feel like a new man, as if I’ve shed all of the demons that were attached to my soul.”

Although the duo hadn’t been dating for years, clearly their shared life experiences had a profound impact on their connection and romantic timeline. Perhaps their ayahuasca experience became the tipping point for their relationship, propelling them into matrimony. Perhaps, it was simply another stop during the joy ride. But for those who have not experienced non-Western medicine, it’s described as an ineffable, gravity-altering rattling of the soul.

Heralding from sunny South Florida, I am a proud Florida Woman. In my free time, I surf the swamp, wrangle gators, open fan mail, and tend to my pets. In the wild, I'm most often spotted at immersive art spaces, step tappin' in a shadowed corner of the club, hater blockerz on, totally incognito as your resident EDM spice girl. Although I generally tout my spicy side, if there's one thing I'd love to impress upon the world, it would be this: it's not a waste to give love to those who do not deserve it – it's a gift. The world would be a better place if we gave, in kindness and in mercy, to those who need it most with no expectation in return.
