Dive into this exclusive interview with the talented producer, Sander Wilder, to learn more about his musical journey as we uncover his standout moments and look ahead to reveal what listeners can expect from him next.

Exron Music: Hi Sander Wilder! How’s it going?

Hey there, nice to meet you. Doing quite good, thank you for asking!

Exron Music: To begin, can you share with us which of your releases have been your favourites so far and why?

All of my releases have their own story, it’s hard to treat them differently, but ‘Timewarp’ still gives me that immersive feeling I had when I first produced the track.

Exron Music: Reflecting on your musical journey, how would you say your experiences have shaped the music you’re creating now?

Every moment in my life, whether joyous, motivating or challenging, finds its way into my music. Each track becomes a sonic diary, capturing the essence of my journey.

Exron Music: When it comes to your production style, are there any new sounds, genres, or techniques that you’re hoping to incorporate next?

I’m always pushing boundaries (carefully though) and I very much enjoy experimenting with my sound – it’s a continuous process, I’ll leave a trace of mystery here and when the time comes, the audience will know.

Exron Music: Do you see yourself collaborating with any other Producers in the future? If so, who do you hope to work with?

I’m taking that into consideration but at this moment I don’t have a specific artist who I want to collaborate with. I feel that when the time comes, I will know – it’s more about being in the right context with the right producer and then from there we can organically start a collaboration.

Exron Music: With your show, ‘Global Feelings’, has there been a particular episode that has stood out as one of your favourites so far?

Each episode has a unique flavour and I’m trying to keep it like this, that being said I cannot point to only one episode as my favourite.

Exron Music: If we look back at your music career, can you share with us, what have been some of your highlights? How would you say these moments led you to where you are now?

One of the most memorable highlights of my music career was the release of my first official EP. It was a significant milestone that marked the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. Seeing my music officially out in the world and receiving positive feedback from listeners was an incredibly gratifying experience.

More recently, seeing my tracks gain traction on Beatport/Apple Music charts is quite a pleasant feeling, knowing that there’s interest in my music. Receiving recognition from a respected music blog, respected artists or online publication has been a highlight that has opened the doors to new opportunities.

One more thing: the most recent support from Dada Life for my track, ‘Infinite Hourglass’ in their ‘Podcast April 2024’ was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, each of these moments has contributed to my growth as an artist and has helped me refine my craft and develop my unique sound.

Exron Music: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

I’m hoping that I’m able to develop my musical project in a way where each potential audience is able to be in touch with my musical journey.

Exron Music: What can fans expect to hear next within your episodes of ‘Global Feelings’?

For sure a lot of new music and some new tracks from my side, so keep an eye on my social media for more news.

Exron Music: Your signature sound is inherently rooted in the rhythmic and melodic quality of genres like Progressive House and Techno, do you see this evolving at all as you find new influences and inspirations?

For sure, in music as in life, I’m always trying to find new paths and explore them, this is the way my actual musical flavour was built and will continue to evolve, and from a long-term perspective who knows what the future will reveal!

We finish our interview with Sander Wilder by thanking him for his time and for taking a look back at his musical journey so far to share some of his highlights and the moments that have had the most impact on his career. An Atlanta gal chasing her love for electronic dance music. I’ve been with Exron since 2018 and have the privilege of contributing to the culture alongside other badass women whom I now call my friends. My introduction to the scene was first influenced by trap music, but my discography has since expanded to touch a bit of everything. Some of my favorite artists are Zeds Dead, Cloonee, Nghtmre, Flume, Infekt, Sosa, Bleu Clair, Subtronics, but the list goes on forever.
