Subtronics and Level Up debut duo project Leveltronics at EDC Las Vegas

Dubstep’s favorite couple launches new venture that wows fans.

Dynamic duo, and married couple, Subtronics and Level Up—AKA Jesse Kardon and Sonya Broner—debuted project Leveltronics at EDC Las Vegas with a b2b set on Saturday, May 18. With the official launch of the project, fans can expect official releases in the near future as their EDC performance was bolstered with multiple unreleased collaborations.

Previous to even being a romantic couple, the two have both had amazing careers. Subtronics has peaked on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart at the No.9 position with his song “Griztronics”, a collab with electronic music artist GRiZ. Level Up, originally a battle DJ, kickstarted her career by studying under the legendary turntablist Rob Swift and then went on to release bangers such as “Vessel” and “Ascension”.

Subtronics has made a name for himself in the dubstep community with his fast-paced, high-energy mixes that keep fans on their toes at shows. His samples are always surprising but refreshing and when mixed with the typical hard-hitting bass he serves up, it’s no surprise his shows are immensely popular. His fanbase, the ‘Cyclops Army’, is extremely devoted and always shows up during his performances.

Level Up’s sets typically have a unique development of energy that takes off with a rolling start and gradually increases until the energy levels are off the charts, just like how it feels to play a video game. This stems from her love of gaming, as shown by her stage name. She uniquely blends bass and dubstep in a way that creates a spooky and thrilling vibe. She also adds her own flair to sets by consistently featuring classic dance and emo anthems.

Subtronics and Level Up have impeccably taken their distinct styles and combined them effortlessly to take fans on a wild ride. After posting some clips on Instagram, the comment section was flooded with praise and cries for more.

Leveltronics has made history as the first married couple to perform together at EDC Las Vegas and has impressed fans and surely made some new ones with their electric performance. #couplegoals!
