Tale of Us producer Mrak accused of sexual abuse
Afterlife founder and producer, Mrak, has faced allegations of sexual abuse from an attendee of one of his shows.
Earlier this week, Carmine Conte, better known as Mrak, one-half of the renowned DJ duo Tale of Us, was allegedly accused of sexual abuse back in April 2023. The allegations surfaced earlier this week when a personal social media account shared on Instagram her alleged experience, sparking a wave of reactions and discussions among fans and industry alike.
The accuser, who goes by the name @li.1111.li on Instagram, posted a harrowing narrative on social media, describing the alleged incident. In her statement, she claims Mrak allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted her when she met up with the artist in Argentina in April 2023. The Instagram post includes graphic details of the alleged assault, the aftermath, and the emotional and physical pain she endured. “The pain I felt when I woke up, bleeding between my legs as I walked, was unbearable,” she wrote, emphasizing the severe trauma she experienced.
According to the victim, she possesses substantial alleged evidence to support her claims, including real-time locations, photographs with Mrak’s team, and medical prescriptions from a doctor who treated her after the incident. Since posting the allegations, the accuser has removed all her social media posts before making the claim.
In the past few days, she also added Instagram highlights to her page with more evidence. The evidence includes photos of the producer’s cat, the place the Afterlife team was staying at, flight tickets, and even a message from Mrak following the allegations.
Since the allegations, there has been no public response from the Afterlife team or Carmine himself. As of today, there are no official charges related to this case. Also, there is no evidence of a filed case with law enforcement authorities. However, many comments on the original post that appeared to downplay the accusations disappeared.
