Pasquale Rotella responds to baby discovered at EDC Las Vegas
Detailed and extensive RV checks were enforced following the baby on board announcement for the 2024 EDC Music Festival.
An anonymous member who made a post in AZRAVEFAM is facing critical backlash after announcing they were actively looking for a babysitter on campus while enjoying the EDC Music Festival. As many came forward to comment, the founder and owner of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella, has taken matters into his own hands, going as far as implementing a permanent ban for any festivalgoers who dare to challenge the experience creator.
The Instagram post by Pasquale includes a screenshot of the original post – “Anyone going to camp EDC and need to make some extra money? We want to hit up a few pool parties during the day and will pay a sitter. $100/hr. – with 3hr min each day”. They continue “We’re good at night because she’ll be asleep and we can hit the festival while she’s sleeping. But she’ll be awake during the day and we don’t want her to get into anything while locked in the RV.”
The original post continues “And before you say anything Karens, we’ll have a baby monitor while in the festival. So if she wakes up, we can just go out and put her back to sleep”. The parent mentions they must be provided with references and have childcare experience. The requirements seem high compared to the parents’ behavior, themselves.
Pasquale was quick to set the record straight that there would be no tolerance regarding the matter. Ensuring the safety of all, he took to Instagram “Leave the baby at home 🙄 or just stay home …”. Taking the circumstances seriously, the CEO of Insomniac “will be increasing security checks before anyone enters the edc campgrounds. I want everyone to know if anyone is found with a baby in their rv they will be escorted out of the raceway and will be permanently banned from all insomniac events”.
