SG Lewis Throws Inaugural Party for His Forever Days Imprint in London

SG Lewis has launched his first party for Forever Days label at the iconic KoKo Theatre.

To kick off the Bank Holiday weekend, SG Lewis hosted the inaugural party for his Forever Days imprint in London. Situated at the legendary KoKo Theatre in Camden, SG Lewis invited Londoners to join him for a night of dancing.

The theatre-turned-music venue and club has a rich musical history with performances in the past from Madonna, Amy Winehouse, and The Rolling Stones. Adding to the musical history at KoKo, SG Lewis’ commencement party for his Forever Days label was one for the books.

SG Lewis hand-picked a starting lineup for his show, starting with an opening performance from Nyra. Nyra is a professional cyclist turned DJ and producer who rains from Sheffield, England. Beginning the night, Nyra warmed up the crowd with his groovy house sound that molded effortlessly to the Forever Days ambiance and helped close the event with a special B2B with SG Lewis.

Up next to perform was Chloé Caillet whose debut at KoKo was nothing short of electric. Caillet is a NYC-born and French-raised DJ and producer who has disrupted the industry recently with her reputation for dissolving music barriers. She is a leader in the amicable rebellion, blurring different music genres cohesively to create her unique sound.

Later on, SG Lewis joined Caillet on stage to play their club hit “Costa,” as he geared up to take over the decks. Known for his energetic live shows, SG Lewis also DJs as a part of his music endeavors.

SG Lewis played 2 hours of music including tracks from “times” and “AudioLust & HigherLove” his two albums. He rinsed the crowd with his newest track, “mr useless,” and the upcoming single, “Love Bites” featuring the pop icons Nelly Furtado and Tove Lo, which is set to be released May 22.

My favorite thing in the whole world is music and after hearing "One" by Swedish House Mafia for the first time in 2014, I was hooked on EDM. Dance music has been a large part of who I am and will always be searching for new ways to incorporate it in my life. The pure bliss that I feel from live shows is a feeling I never want to stop chasing (iykyk). Some of my favorite artists are Flume, Rüfüs Du Sol, Mindchatter, Disclosure, Dom Dolla and Fred Again.. :)
