Texas Eclipse Announces Refund Policy Following Festival’s Early Closure

Texas Eclipse Festival prioritizes safety while facing multiple weather complications, resulting in a refund policy announcement to attendees.

After canceling the last day due to “tornadoes and damaging winds, large hail, lightning and heavy rain”, Disco Presents announces that Texas Eclipse Festival is initiating refunds based on the purchaser’s package. They are issuing refunds anywhere from 25-50% as soon as May 2nd, 2024 to almost 40,000 ticket holders – showing that the prominent event company is a trusted and respectable partner.

For a full breakdown, all two-day General Admission and VIP ticketholders will receive a 50% refund of the ticket’s face value, three-day packages will receive a 33% refund, and four-day packages will receive a 25% refund. Camping upgrades and add-ons will receive a 25% refund of the face value, not including taxes and fees. All refunds are based on supplier costs and insurance-covered cancellations regarding weather interference.

In collaboration with Probably Nothing, Texas Eclipse presented a multitude of immersive programs and brought together roughly 600 individuals from various countries in the center of Texas to partake in an unforgettable experience. Before the cancellation, the festival was filled with music, art, science, and tech, intertwining creative concepts like those seen at Art Basel, Burning Man, and science fiction movies.

To make the festival experience top tier, Texas Eclipse made sure to book a smashing lineup with artist performances by Bob Moses, Seth Troxler, The Desert Hearts Crew, STS9, Zed’s Dead, and other industry giants. Combined with a holistic healing retreat celebrating the total solar eclipse, this festival was the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime getaway.

Despite the weather and premature finale, Disco Presents made this endeavor one to remember. And now, they are redeeming themselves as a company by offering partial refunds following the cancelation of the last day of Texas Eclipse.

Cancelation aside, Texas Eclipse was still a collective moment in history where attendees got the opportuity to experience the thrill of this eclipse in real time, together. Attendees managed to uplift each other while overcoming challenges on the final day, establishing new forever friends, connecting and reconnecting with familiar faces, and helping each other enjoy and celebrate their positive experiences during the first part of the magical festival weekend.
