Porter Robinson has been featured on Daniel Mac’s social media platforms riding around Los Angeles in his Porter Robinson decked-out car.

As part of his brilliant publicity stunt to promote his upcoming new album, ‘SMILE! :D,’ Porter Robinson has recently been featured on social media personality Daniel Mac’s platforms riding around Los Angeles in his Beetle convertible decked out in Porter Robinson swag and anime stickers.

Daniel Mac is recognized for going around big cities and asking celebrities and recognizable wealthy folks what they do for a living. In the caption of his ‘What Porter Robinson Does For A Living’ video, Daniel writes, “This is my most frantic video to date.” Throughout the video, Porter Robinson continuously acts as well, Porter Robinson, doing everything he can to promote himself and the creative vision behind the new album in his own quirky, creative manner.

The irony of this video is that true Porter Robinson fans know that he’s not one to talk about luxurious or material things. In the video, he is completely trolling viewers inside his decked-out convertible and is seen wearing Japanese-inspired, rave-like clothing items that he describes as “furry swag and a baby bonnet swag.” He also describes the car to Daniel Mac by saying, “It’s like Porter Robinson, it’s like not Mercedes.”

Daniel Mac then goes on to ask Porter Robinson what he does for a living even though he already knows, and Porter responds by saying “I’m a pop star, I do music. I started off with dance music, now I’m doing more pop stuff.” For those who have listened to his recent releases “Cheerleader” and “Knock Yourself Out XD”, some would agree that his latest singles are more pop-y in nature.
