Everything You Need to Know About Manchester’s Parklife Festival
As the 2024 Parklife Festival approaches, here are important details about the unmissable event.
Situated in the heart of Heaton Park, Parklife Festival 2024 is located in one of the largest public parks in Europe. Spanning across 600 acres in Manchester, England, the park has been open to the public since 1902. Heaton Park is historically known for having granular events and has hosted festivals and concerts that track back to the early 1900s.
One of the most famous annual events this park hosts is the 2024 Parklife Festival, which will be taking place from June 8-9th. On Saturday, the festival will run from 12:00 – 23:00 and Sunday from 13:00 – 23:30 with the last entry into the event at 17:00 on both days.
Founded in 2010 and run at Platts Field Park, Fallowfield – the festival moved to the iconic park in 2013 and has cemented itself there ever since. Parklife traditionally greets up to 80,000 people during the two days it runs every year.
Hundreds of the world’s most talented artists have had the opportunity to perform at the festival since its inception – and this season keeps that tradition alive as some of the world’s top artists will gather together on the second weekend of June.
Parklife Festival 2024 has an undoubtedly stacked roster of talented musicians gracing the park with their eclectic talent. With performances from artists spanning across different genres like House, Techno, Drum and Bass, Jungle, Pop, Hip-Hop, and R&B, this year is the perfect opportunity to see your favorite artists as well as be introduced to new sprouting talent.
With performances by Disclosure, Doja Cat, Dom Dolla, Fisher b2b Chris Lake (who will be making a comeback from their missed Ultra 2024 set) Becky Hill, Sammy Virji, Patrick Topping, Camelphat, Sugababes, Wilkinson, Bou, Pawsa, Barry Can’t Swim, Hybrid Minds, Nia Archives, Four Tet, TYRM, Kaytranada (the list GOES ON)- there is a reason we have deemed this year’s festival as unmissable.
