Zhu Teases Tracklist for New Album Set for Release This Month
Zhu has teased his latest tracklist for his anticipated fourth studio album a week before its release.
American electronic music producer and singer ZHU teases the tracklist for his upcoming fifth studio album, ‘GRACE.’ Fifteen tracks long, the album is expected to be released in a little over a week on March 15th, with at least 13 collaborations.
In the caption of the tracklist reveal, ZHU tagged various artists who helped him create the album. Varying from indie-darling BANKS to former Dare Me actress Herizen Fawn, ‘GRACE’ seems to be a project that will have different aspects of EDM sprinkled throughout the project.
In addition to new music, ZHU will release a merch collection on his website titled ‘7 DAYS OF GRACE.’ Different items available on the website include a Grace Bible, lyric sheet, Grace Holy Water, MP3, a confessional call, and more.
The Grammy-winning artist known for making deep house-styled electronic music continues to master his craft in his new music. “Thrill Again,” the lead single from the album already released, features American singer/songwriter UPSAHL. The song interpolates George Michael’s hit “Careless Whisper” as UPSAHL belts, “I don’t ever want to dance again, till my body hurts, I wanna feel the thrill again…”.
As ZHU releases his album next weekend, he will perform at Lollapalooza in Chile and Argentina in celebration. After next weekend, he will continue to bounce from country to country to perform at various festivals in Colombia, Brazil, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
After recording the album in a cathedral live and having religious merch, the album’s theme will be around ZHU’s self-proclaimed restart in the industry. Different themes expected on the album include longing, remorse, and realizations of intense topics the artist has encountered in the past years. The first single, “Thrill Again” is available now on all platforms as fans anticipate the release of the new album.
