A-trak Transforms Appearance with Intricate Prosthetics for Duck Sauce Project with Armand Van Helden
Duck Sauce’s new “Clap Your Feet” music video features A-trak undergoing surgery to become a human duck.
The dynamic duo of A-trak and Armand Van Helden will do just about anything to bring their hilarious Duck Sauce party songs to life. Their latest offering applies this ethos to a whole new realm: makeup and cosmetics. Duck Sauce have released their music video for their newest single, “Clap Your Feet,” featuring A-trak transforming into a human duck.
The new video depicts Armand Van Helden and featured artist Fuzzy Cufflinxxx amongst a team of surgeons operating on A-trak. Using a series of high-tech scans and a freshly-lain duck egg, the team turns A-trak into a human-duck hybrid complete with an enormous bill. After running some tests on the new duck man, the video concludes with him and Armand re-centering with some yoga and dance moves.
A-trak has posted on Instagram to give fans some behind-the-scenes information on what it took to become the human duck for the music video. In the post, he shouts out the team that completed the “4+ hours of prosthetics and makeup” and shares pictures of himself throughout the process. He also give props to the team at Gummy Films that made the video and reveals the name of their live duck co-star: Daffy.
The whole idea of the Duck Sauce project, says A-trak, is “to take very silly ideas and see how well we can execute them. Just for fun.” This has been clear since they started the project back in 2009 and shot onto the scene with their first hit, “Barbara Streisand,” in 2014. With the “Clap Your Feet” music video, the duo have certainly shown the lengths to which they will go to execute their silly ideas.
