James Hype Teases Unreleased ‘Romantic Love Song’ with Girlfriend Tita Lau
On his new single, James Hype and his fiancé Tita Lau explore what a romantic love song sounds like through their ears.
Producer and DJ James Hype has released a new romantic track with his fiancé, Tita Lau. Premiering the track at the water park and music festival Out of the World in January, the couple has since released ‘On The Ground.’ This hard-hitting ‘romantic love song’ is perfect for stomping at a festival or down the aisle.
James Hype has made a name for himself with his genre-bending skills, incorporating elements of house, garage, hip-hop, and other genres. Whether it’s on the tracks he has produced or in his DJ sets, he has a knack for connecting with his audience through his technical skills. This has led him to be on remixes with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, and Robin Schulz.
Before James Hype had his notorious following, he was traveling around the U.K., pursuing music, with his then-girlfriend Tita Lau. She was originally a vocalist before she gained fame over COVID-19 for her electronic productions. She now belongs to James Hype’s Stereohype imprint, and the couple has released numerous projects together.
The latest of these projects is their new track, ‘On The Ground.’ James Hype premiered this song in January at Out of the World in Malaysia and took to Instagram to tease its potential release, saying, “I made a romantic love song with my fiancée… should we release?” Around a month later, the couple released ‘On The Ground’ alongside another new track, ‘Vibrate.’
These two songs came around six months after the couple announced their engagement in August of 2023. While the couple does not have a confirmed wedding date, fans are hoping these tracks make it down the aisle.
One might not think a hard house track has the potential to be a romantic love song, but James Hype proved them wrong. Made with his fiancé, Tita Lau, ‘On The Ground’ shows what love looks like through a raver’s ears.
