Marshmello and Svdden Death Join Forces for Mellodeath Tour
Marshmello and Svdden Death are joining forces for the Mellodeath Tour in four U.S. cities this year.
After a smash performance together last summer at EDC Las Vegas, Marshmello and Svdden Death are going on tour together for the first time. The Mellodeath tour is set to kick off at the legendary Red Rocks amphitheater in Colorado. Only three other select cities have been announced so far.
The promo for the tour features Svdden Death and Marshmello in the middle of a dark, mysterious landscape. The two meet in front of the official Mellodeath logo, a fiery combo of their brands. The roaring fire intensifies the anticipation of the announced tour dates at the end of the video.
Grammy-nominated producer Marshmello has rocked the EDM scene while also collaborating with pop’s biggest artists. From the Jonas Brothers to Khalid, Marshmello has made it from the EDM scene to charting on the Billboard Hot 100. Diving deeper into the dubstep scene, Svdden Death is one of the largest independent dubstep acts selling out iconic venues like Hollywood Palladium.
This tour will be a considerably smaller reunion for the bass and dubstep duo. Chart-topping producer Marshmello and dubstep frontrunner Svdden Death first performed their B2B set at EDC Las Vegas to almost half a million music lovers. Much like their B2B set in Vegas, fans can expect a wide variety of sounds from deep dubstep to pop-adjacent EDM favorites.
The two have not formally announced new music together just yet, but that doesn’t mean fans have to leave empty-handed. Marshmello and Svdden Death are also gifting fans with new merch. Fans can purchase Mellodeath merch ahead of the show on their website.
Other tour cities announced include Chicago, Minneapolis, and Dallas. There are currently a limited amount of tickets available for presale this Thursday. Fans can check the website for updates on the release of more tickets and when presale tickets will be available locally.
